My name is Robin Cornelius and this is my website. I am a electro-magnetics engineer and I work for a small company who designs and builds equipment related to magnetism. This includes instrumentation such as gaussmeters and fluxmeters and larger equipment such as magnetisers and demagnetisers. This involves electronic design, PCB design testing PCB, playing with 3000V DC on large capacitors, software engineering (embedded assembler, C/C++, VB, HTML, PHP, MYSQL)
I have an interest in Linux, GNU and the whole free software movement. I specifically run GNU/Linux at home using Debian unstable. I have implemented linux servers at work for workgroup stuff with windows clients as well as a gateway,firewall, email etc server for all other normal small network tasks. These systems are running Debian stable (sarge at the time of writing).
I am a member of my local linux users group LUG, the Devon and Cornwall LUG and attend meetings when possible.
